Enable RDP on your servers

Problem:  After deploying a Server OS through MDT, by default I don’t have the ability to RDP onto it

Solution:  A quick and easy powershell script added to the deployment will fix this for you.  Here’s one I created earlier…

 <#
 Script to enable RDP on servers after deployment

 #>
 Function Enable-RDP
     {
         $HKLM1 = "HKLM:\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server"
         $HKLM2 = "HKLM:\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp"
         Set-ItemProperty -Path $HKLM1 -Name "fDenyTSConnections" -Value 0
         Set-ItemProperty -Path $HKLM2 -Name "UserAuthentication" -Value 0
     }

 Enable-RDP
